Bradley Wiggins Tour de Romandie lead cut after third stage

Bradley Wiggins holds a one-second advantage with two stages remaining of the Tour de Romandie after Spain’s Luis Leon Sanchez won stage three on Friday.

The Briton’s seven-second lead in Switzerland was cut as Sanchez won the ride from La Neuveville to Charmego.

Sanchez edged Gianni Meersman and Paolo Tiralongo in a sprint finish, with Wiggins in the safety of the peloton.

The 184km fourth stage from Bulle to Sion and the final 16.5km time-trial in Crans-Montana take place on Sunday.
