He actually is a very brave dog
Last year we had a really terrible drought in Central Texas. This year we seem to be getting some level of payback. Anyhow, last night around 9 pm a flash of light followed by a really loud bang announced the arrival of a heavy storm system in our neighborhood. I was startled and a bit nervous. My human companions were, at first, thankful for the rain, but once the heavy downpour began interfering with the reception from our satellite television, they had less kind thoughts about this gift from the heavens.
Dogs are much more consistent about thanking mother nature. Food is good, shelter is also good, and being the big dog in your immediate vicinity is also good.
